Join us to bring the gift of health to life.The Quality Control Coordinator II is responsible for providing critical support to the QC laboratory to enable daily laboratory activities by managing inventory and placing orders for supplies for the entire laboratory, performs data entry into LIMS, and coordinates shipping services.
Additionally, generates certificate of analysis (COA) for customer service, and reconciles P-cards. Quality Control Coordinator II reports to the Quality Control Supervisor. Key ResponsibilitiesCritical contributions this role is counted on to deliver include:Responsible for weekly inventory and managing all the necessary chemical, reagents, and consumable items for the QC laboratory.Finds information for products, gets competitive quotes from approved suppliers, and places orders.Follows up with external vendors for adherence to scheduled delivery of supplies or helps to find alternatives when supplies are backordered.Updates ordering tracking spreadsheet for visibility and prevention of duplicate ordering of supplies.Coordinates all FedEx and shipping activities for the QC laboratory.Inputs COA results in LIMS, performs calculations when necessary.Monitors requests for certificate of analysis (COA) and generates COA's for customer service.Ensures Pharmavite Safety Requirements, SOP's and cGMP's are followed in assigned project areas.Performs other related duties as assigned.Ideal Candidate ProfileThe ideal candidate is a team player who is detail-orientated and can work well in a fast-paced environment to deliver results in a timely manner. You recognize Pharmavite's key values and coordinate with the QC supervisor to support the daily laboratory activities.Critical Success FactorsYou'll be most successful in this role if you have:Ability to work simultaneously on multiple projects.Good time-management skills, so assignments are completed on time.Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communications skills.Statistical and mathematical skills required to calculate unit conversions.Demonstrated ability to work independently.Frequent, intermittent, intense and/or close attention to detail.Good understanding of the industry cGMP requirements.Capabilities & Skills RequiredTo take on these challenges, you'll need to have:A minimum of 2 years' college or an associate's degree.Experience in pharmaceutical, nutritional, food or other consumer packaged goods in manufacturing or quality.Intermediate to advanced computer skills including data entry, word processing and spreadsheets.Ability to perform this job safely in accordance with standard operating procedures and good manufacturing practices, without endangering the health or safety of self or others.Ability to move about in the office and QC laboratory.OUR OFFERHere, career paths aren't predefined, and bureaucratic limitations don't exist -- you have the opportunity to grow, learn from industry pioneers, and develop the way you want to. Various elements are used to determine a candidate's starting salary such as job experience, specific skills, and comparison to internal incumbents currently in the role.
