Position Summary:
The Quality Assurance Specialist II is tasked with conducting thorough evaluations of products and processes, ensuring adherence to established standards through systematic audits and calibration of instruments.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Perform comprehensive product and process audits to maintain quality assurance.
2. Facilitate instrument calibration activities, ensuring compliance with measurement requirements.
3. Support third-party audits to validate adherence to quality standards.
Technical Duties:
Utilize Maximo CMMS for reviewing calibration technician work orders and generating insightful reports for investigations and metrics development.
Documentation Management:
Ensure the completion and maintenance of all calibration reports. Review calibration worksheets and certificates from external service providers for accuracy and completeness.
Collaboration:
Demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills by coordinating with equipment owners across various departments, including incoming inspection, manufacturing, and service, to ensure timely calibration of all equipment and instruments.
Incident Management:
Report Out of Tolerance (OOT) events promptly and follow established processes for resolution. Maintain all necessary documentation to support the closure of related investigations.
