Manage the Franklin Park Facility, operational activities, assignments for Local 399 Operating Engineers, various contractor maintenance, and physical related services including: boiler / steam operations, refrigeration, HVAC, Building Systems, Fire Suppression, landscaping, parking lot safety, & waste water treatment operations.  Coordinate work order priorities with the direction of the UGP Manager and Maintenance Department Head.  Enforce and promote all company guidelines, policies and procedures.Main Responsibilities:Ensure the planning of maintenance interventions in the Utilities and Facilities areasPerform skilled repair and maintenance operations, using equipment such as hand and power tools, hydraulic presses and shears, and welding equipmentInterpret specifications, blueprints, and job orders in order to construct templates and lay out reference points for workersCompile maintenance records, such as down-time and production records, inventory data, repair and maintenance statistics, and test resultsMeet with vendors and suppliers in order to discuss products used in repair work in conjunction with Purchasing DepartmentCollaborate with HSE and external company for the certification processMaintain Ammonia PSM / RMP along with Mechanical Integrity ProgramsEstablish, organize and manage the implementation of programs for periodic, routine and extraordinary review of the utilities and facilities maintenance systemsEnsure optimal building management and preventative maintenance programs; lifecycle evaluation for all utilities equipment such as refrigeration, chiller/heating plants, HVACS, BAS, sprinklers and fire alarms.Coordinate contractors on all physical plant designs, construction and building maintenanceEnsure the proper documentation relating to internal and external auditsEnsure the archiving of documentation relating to certificates of inspection obtained from external entitiesEnsure functionality and routine testing & services for Fire Suppression SystemsCoordinate the maintenance activities on utilities equipment and facilities and ensure that the operating programs are carried outDetermine schedules, sequences, and coordinate assignments for work activities, based on priority, equipment and skill of personnel to accomplish tasksConduct or arrange for worker training in safety, repair, maintenance techniques operational procedures and equipment useDevelop implement, and evaluate maintenance policies and proceduresParticipate in the development and planning of the utilities and facilities budget and the energy budgetWho we are looking for:Minimum 8 years of experienceKnowledge of product technology, Utilities, Facilities, & Food ProcessKnowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership techniques, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.Motivating, developing, and directing people as they work, identifying the best people for the job;Managing one's own time and the time of their staff;Talking to others to convey information effectively and influence.Monitoring/Assessing performance of individuals, or process to make improvements or take corrective action;Coaching, Mentoring, Teaching, and Guiding employees;Communicating effectively in writing as appropriate;Coordinating the appropriate use of equipment, facilities, and materials needed to do certain work;Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems;Considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate oneHow to be successful in the role and at Ferrero:Consumers, quality and care are at the heart of everything we do.
