Job Overview:

Position Summary

This role is responsible for the strategic planning, organization, and oversight of all maintenance operations within the designated area. The Supervisor will lead team leaders and managers in executing a variety of maintenance tasks, including routine upkeep, preventive measures, and capital projects. This position contributes to financial and operational planning as well as the development of both short-term and long-term strategies for the business unit.

Core Responsibilities

  • Ensure the efficient and effective utilization of all assigned physical, human, and financial resources. Implement training initiatives that empower staff to perform competently within established protocols.
  • Design maintenance strategies that meet the operational requirements of the organization and guarantee that facilities and equipment operate at peak performance levels.
  • Set departmental benchmarks concerning quality, safety, efficiency, and documentation, ensuring that all maintenance processes are aligned with these standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments, vendors, and external partners to enhance operational effectiveness. Oversee the hiring and management of external contractors for capital projects in accordance with company policies and contractual obligations.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement by proposing enhancements aimed at reducing waste and elevating overall product quality and process efficiency. Assess and provide feedback on production equipment, process innovation, and operational methodologies.
  • Support the formulation of annual and long-term objectives for staffing, maintenance, capital budgeting, and strategic planning initiatives.

  • Oversees professional staff and/or supervisors or manages large, intricate technical or business support or production operations teams.
  • Accountable for the performance and outcomes of a team within their specific discipline or function.
  • Adjusts departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges.
  • Guided by policies, procedures, and business plans; receives direction from senior management.
  • Provides technical direction to employees, colleagues, and/or clients.
Minimum Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor's Degree is mandatory.
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience is essential.
