This position provides overarching Financial Leadership to the Beverage Division inclusive of oversight and accounting for Leases and Fixed Assets related to Shamrock s Beverage Equipment Leasing Program. Additionally, they own the functions of contract administration pertaining to new/expiring agreements and associated assets, ongoing monitoring of existing leases, and serves as a liaison between the Beverage Equipment Leasing team and the corporate lease accounting team. They will provide oversight into policy and process adherence related to lease accounting and fixed asset accounting as well as maintain Departmental Financial statements to the Beverage Division.Essential Duties:Partner with the Beverage Equipment Team, Contract Administration, Sales, and Corporate Accounting acting as a financial/accounting business partner to ensure lease and asset capitalization policies are followed.Act as a subject matter expert pertaining to beverage equipment contracts, as well as leases and fixed assets.Analyze and review new leases, as well as changes or amendments to existing leases for accounting impact and upcoming expirations. Communicate and record entries as necessary.Work cohesively with multiple divisions
Finance and Operations leaders.Build and maintain critical Divisional Financial reporting.Lead, coordinate, and establish enterprise internal controls/risk mitigation efforts including physical audits, project spend authorization, lien waivers, verified insurance certificates, and retention payment coordination.Partner with functional leads within the organization to build open communication channels and elaborate best practices within the division.Identify inefficiencies in system reporting and workflow and implement process improvement initiatives.Adhere to month-end, quarter-end, and year-end deadlines.Support interim and year-end audits.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications:Bachelor s degree in accounting or finance and 6+ years of related experienceCPA designation preferredStrong understanding of US GAAP and internal controls requiredPreferred experience with Visual Lease, and Microsoft Dynamics 365Detail oriented, as well as organizedStrong analytical capabilities in Microsoft Office suiteExperience with contract administration, month end close, general ledger, journal entries,reconciliations, budgeting/forecasting and variance analysis requiredProven ability to prioritize workload, multi-task and problem solveDemonstrated communication excellence across groups and levelsExperience developing best practices and rolling them out across an entityCorporate Summary:At Shamrock Foods Company, people come first
