The Enterprise Platforms PD&I team is accountable for implementing and supporting systems for AMEX Enterprise platform businesses. We are seeking leaders with a strong technology background to join our team. You will drive the planning, directing, and coordinating large-scale innovative & strategic products & services launch from discovery through implementation in an Agile environment.

We have opportunity to engage on crucial initiatives that are core to the growth of American Express, that will also help you learn and develop as a technology leader.

This position will be responsible for the following:

Drives initiatives across platforms & Agile trains for product delivery demonstrating servant leadership coupled with technical expertise.Entire lifecycle from discovery to delivery:Partners with Product and Engineering owners for early engagement and prioritization process.Drives Pre-Program Increment (PI) planning meetings with product management, delivery teams and Business Partners. Cross Platform Integrated Release Planning and status reportingE2E Test Management (test data set up, test plan creation, reporting on testing status, etc.)Partner in the Delivery, Solutioning and Refinement processes to ensure product readiness.Ensures dependency alignment for the teams & trains across organization & external partners (where applicable)Partner with Product Managers, Product Owners, New Product Development, Business Partners and Architects to help assure strategy, vision and road map alignment and execution (initiative and epic specific). Ensures value is achieved from end users' perspective by the technology/product delivery. Assist with prioritization with experience regarding cross platform technology delivery and using Agile practices & techniques.Collaborates with Delivery Managers (DMs), Release Train Engineers (RTEs) and TPMs to identify and coordinate cross-platforms dependencies.Create data-driven insights into the delivery and execution of the program using relevant portfolio, program and team level metrics. Manages impediments, risks, dependencies and resourcing needs across stakeholders and leaders as appropriate. Support and encourage innovation through continuous exploration. Aggregates and drives End-to-End Program Increment (PI) objectives into Epic/Cross-Train Release objectives to ensure successful delivery. Identify and manage gaps, issues, risks, and opportunities across Agile teams and trains. Track and measure Features & Capability execution progress.Present the initiatives' progress as well as improvement ideas to leaders.Manages external relationships, e.g. product partners or technology vendors on behalf of Technology organization (where appropriate). Minimum Qualifications: 2+ years of Scrum Master experience.2+ years' experience in presentation & documentation tools like Microsoft PowerPoint & Excel.2+ years' experience with design and coding across one or more platforms and languages.5+ relevant Program and/or Project Management experience3+ years of experience facilitating Agile, Scrum, or other rapid application development teams to deliver solutions.2+ years of experience agile management tools- Rally & Jira.BS or MS degree in computer science or information technology Preferred Qualifications: PMP certification.In depth knowledge on SAFe and agile methodology.Scrum Master CertificationArchitectural concepts and solutioning mindset.Passionate and self-driven attitude to deliver value.Collaborative and servant leadership skills. Salary Range: $85,000.00 to $150,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits The above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition.
