It includes serving as project manager for various technical development courses. The role has moderate autonomy, requiring sound operational judgment.

This role will be onsite at the GE Hitachi Nuclear Headquarters in Wilmington, NC to support on-site activities as needed.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Support engineering led activities related to New Hire Orientation, Onboarding, and Leadership Development Programs.
  • Confer with management and conduct surveys to identify program needs over time.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts for program.
  • Manage the Nuclear Design Fundamentals course and associated practicum with leadership from Chief's Office.
  • Instruct and/or deliver onboarding training content as necessary, with mentorship from current lead instructor.
  • Willingness to learn new technology and Systematic Approach to Training.
  • Foster strong Nuclear Safety Culture in Engineering Organization.
  • Act as Condition Review Group Representative for Engineering, and support Engineering Advanced Nuclear corrective action program needs.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college with 2 years of related professional experience in project management and engineering tasks (preferably in the nuclear industry).
  • OR a high school diploma / GED with at least 10 years of related professional experience in project management and engineering tasks (preferably in the nuclear industry).
Eligibility Requirements
  • Relocate to or already located in Wilmington, NC to support on-site activities as needed.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
  • This role is restricted to U.S. persons (i.e., U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) due to access to U.S. export-controlled technology. GE will require proof of U.S. person status prior to employment.

The base pay range for this position is $79-105k. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for bonuses, such as a performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity. This position is expected to close on Friday July 26th 2024

The company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120%, or 130% of salary in certain areas.
