**Operations Training Specialist**

The anticipated salary range for this role is between $102,600 and $114,000, contingent upon experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes bonuses and a 401(k) plan.

**Senior Operations Training Specialist**

The anticipated salary range for this role is between $125,100 and $139,000, contingent upon experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes bonuses and a 401(k) plan.

**PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION**

The role requires a high level of expertise and extensive knowledge in executing tasks related to the analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation, and modification of plant-specific nuclear operations training programs.

**PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES**

+ Enhances station and personnel performance through targeted training initiatives. Coordinates and delivers performance-based operations RO/NLO training programs as dictated by the user community, adhering to established procedures and effectively applying the phases of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation.

+ Ensures that training programs remain current and integrate insights from INPO Significant Operating Experience Reports, Exelon NERs, NRC Circulars, Bulletins, and Information Notices, as well as updates from plant design changes, procedure revisions, new regulations, and training effectiveness assessments.

+ Develops trainee assessments and conducts evaluations across classroom, laboratory, OJT, and simulator settings, as appropriate, while providing counseling sessions for trainees, assessing outcomes, and recommending or creating tailored training programs.

+ Supports station and fleet initiatives in business projects, management tasks, refueling outages, emergency preparedness duties, and special assignments.

+ Engages in NRC, INPO, and management audits, preparing responses to any audit findings.

+ Maintains up-to-date knowledge of plant operations, disciplinary skills, and techniques necessary to develop and deliver effective, high-quality training.

+ Oversees the collection and maintenance of verifiable training records and reports essential for documenting training program activities.

Associates degree (in science/engineering **OR** education/training) **WITH** 4+ years of relevant industry experience/technical background. **OR**

6+ years of relevant industry experience/technical background **OR**

Bachelor's degree in education/training **WITH** 2 years of teaching experience.

**Senior Operations Training Specialist - Job Code: XKAK - Grade: E03**

**Minimum Qualifications**

Previous or current senior reactor operator license **OR**

Previous RO **WITH** 4+ years of relevant industry experience (must achieve SRO certification within 18 months.) **OR**

An SRO Certification WITH 4+ years of relevant industry experience AND 6 months of proven teaching in LORT or ILT.

Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.

**ANSI Qualifications for Operations Training Specialist OR Senior Operations Training Specialist**

High school diploma.

2 years of relevant experience, including at least 0.25 years of nuclear power plant experience.

Demonstrated knowledge of instructional techniques through training or experience and certification as a qualified instructor for the material being presented.

**Operations Instructor - Job Code: XKAG - Grade: E02**

**Preferred Qualifications**

Bachelor's degree (in science/engineering **OR** education/training).

6+ years of nuclear power plant training experience.

**Senior Operations Training Specialist - Job Code: XKAK - Grade: E03**

**Preferred Qualifications**

Bachelor's Degree in science/engineering or education/training.

Previous or current senior reactor operator license **OR**
