Role Summary:

Join our dynamic Information Technology Team during this pivotal phase. As the Lead IT Specialist in Manufacturing Operations, you will oversee a team of IT experts dedicated to providing technical assistance, maintenance, and development of SAP solutions, along with other essential applications for our manufacturing processes. Your collaboration with business stakeholders, vendors, and various IT teams will be crucial to ensure that SAP solutions align with business objectives and strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the project portfolio, ensuring alignment across various business units by mapping requirements to delivered solutions within the manufacturing domain.
  • Oversee user requirements, design specifications, system configurations, and testing plans.
  • Lead the design and implementation of new or enhanced system functionalities.
  • Identify and execute opportunities for process enhancements, estimating benefits to promote standardization, simplification, and integration.
  • Drive initiatives to refine business processes and leverage integrated systems innovatively.
  • Serve as a champion for governance, alignment, and communication of best practices.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Program Management, Quality, and other SAP functional areas.
  • Accountable for a designated section of manufacturing, providing technical support and Process Engineering to meet or exceed business objectives in Safety, People, Quality, Responsiveness, Cost, and Environmental initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar capacity.
  • Proficient in SAP Manufacturing, PM, and integrated modules.
  • Preferred experience with S/4 HANA.
  • Familiarity with supporting applications (MES, Aspentech IP21) and their interdependencies with SAP Manufacturing.
  • Experience with TrakSYS is advantageous.
  • A passion for manufacturing, with a focus on driving improvements on the shop floor.
  • Experience in Project Portfolio/Lifecycle Management.
  • Proven ability to work with external vendors and manage international virtual teams.
