We Are Looking to Add a Key Member to Our Human Resources Team

The Administrative Assistant - Human Resources provides support to Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) and the HR Team, relieving them of as many day-to-day administrative duties as possible. Responsible for handling confidential and time sensitive information working with both internal and external personnel. Duties require excellent knowledge of GreatAmerica, and diplomacy and judgment in dealing with a wide range of situations. Position requires the ability to anticipate problems, initiate appropriate action, and administer confidential information with discretion.

As an Administrative Assistant - Human Resources, you will:

  • Perform administrative duties requiring considerable judgment, initiative, and knowledge of GreatAmerica Financial Services
  • Schedule appointments and meetings, internally and externally
  • CHRO calendar management and coordination with other executives, leaders, or team members
  • HR Leadership Team calendar management and coordination as requested
  • Assist with preparing/submitting expense reports
  • Prepare meeting agendas, presentation decks, and record action items from various HR Team Meetings
  • Perform administrative duties related to the Human Resources function:
  • HR Lunches with New Team Members
  • Leadership Summit and Leadership Event Preparation
  • Partnering with other administrative assistants to schedule new hire 1:1's with Senior Leaders
  • Manage name plate creation and distribution process
  • Credit Seminar or other college event logistics and support
  • Lake Geneva Leadership Offsite planning
  • Support holiday gift administration for employees and GreatAmerica Building contractors
  • Flu Shot Administration
  • Reward and recognition program processes and coordination
  • OA/Rookie reward trip logistics and coordination
  • Monthly WOW and Impact Awards
  • Service Awards
  • Proof copy as requested
  • Maintain elements of the Corporate Calendar
  • Manage tracking and upkeep of membership designations and related activities (SHRM and CLFP etc.)
  • Provide support in organizing/documenting meeting notes, completing follow up as assigned
  • Prepare and/or print slides and documents for various meetings and events
  • Manage projects to completion as assigned
  • Live the GreatAmerica principles; involved in cross functional team efforts as assigned and required
  • Perform other duties, as assigned
To be successful in this role you will need:

Education
  • Minimum of associate's degree
Experience
  • Prefer minimum of 3 years of administrative experience handling confidential information and heavy calendaring
Computer Skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Preferred knowledge of Microsoft Teams and Adobe Suite
