We are seeking a Clinical Nurse Support Specialist to join our team at Williamson Health. The ideal candidate will have a nursing diploma or degree from a college or university and be licensed by the State of Tennessee. In this role, you will provide clinical nursing support by communicating clinical information to patients and businesses, scheduling tests and consultations, obtaining clinical specimens, and performing clinical office procedures. This position offers a comprehensive benefits program including medical, dental, vision, PTO, retirement matching, and more.
Position Requirements
- Earned a nursing diploma or degree from a college or university
- Licensed by the State of Tennessee
- One year of experience in a medical office environment
- Competent in the use of medical equipment and various oral and injectable medications
Performance Standards
- Accurately record patient's medical history and vital signs
- Counsel patients on health related issues
- Coordinate referrals to other medical services
- Secure consultations and specialists
- Obtain prior authorization for medications and diagnostic testing
- Observe universal precautions
- Coordinate with pharmacies to ensure patients have adequate supplies of medicine
