The Operating Room at Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital features 10 fully equipped surgical suites and 2 specialized procedure rooms, catering to pediatric patients across all acuity levels. Our most active specialties include ENT, Urology, and Orthopedics, alongside numerous cases in general surgery, plastic surgery, gastroenterology, neurosurgery, dental, and ophthalmology.

Role Summary:
The Clinical Support Technician (CST) provides direct patient care services under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and carries out various tasks as designated by competency documentation. The role may occasionally require internal communication with contacts outside the immediate workgroup to share relevant information. Interactions with external contacts involve delivering factual information.
Qualifications/Experience:
A minimum of a High School diploma, GED, Certificate of Completion, or equivalent qualification Experience in patient care within a pediatric healthcare environment is preferredRequired Credentials:
Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Medical Assistant (MA), Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), or other healthcare-related certification OR One year of experience in a clinical environment providing patient care OR An external candidate enrolled in an accredited Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program OR A current employee of JHACH enrolled in either an Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) program or an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) program who has completed Fundamentals of Nursing Practice.
