Reference #: 4610801 THE POSITION Selinsgrove Center is hiring Residential Services Workers to be responsible and accountable for designing, developing, implementing, evaluating, and conducting residential programmatic services and activities for assigned individuals in their living areas at the center. Come join us at the Selinsgrove Center and start your career in public service today DESCRIPTION OF WORK As a Residential Services Worker (RSW), you will be responsible for providing direction and training to Residential Services Aides (RSA's) in the delivery of residential training programs and services specified in each individual's Individual Support Plan (ISP). This includes the ongoing review and evaluation of individual needs and progress toward achieving the plan's program goals. You will also participate in Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) meetings by providing input regarding assessments or services provided, assisting in identifying priorities, recommending methodology and integrative approaches, and responding to input of other team members in order to ensure a program of continuous active treatment is established for each individual. Work is completed through written and verbal directions and regular observation by Residential Services Supervisor (RSS) or other supervisory/management staff. Interested in learning more? Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Alternate work schedule as needed. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: A bachelor's degree in the behavioral sciences, psychology, social work, education, or nursing; or One year of paid experience performing direct care and habilitative program services for individuals with a developmental disability; and a bachelors degree; or Five years of paid experience performing direct care and habilitative program services for individuals with a developmental disability; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
