POSITION OVERVIEW

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is in search of a Senior Manager of Residential Services to enhance our team. In this capacity, you will oversee the Selinsgrove Center, ensuring a harmonious blend of service delivery and operational excellence. This is an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact in public service.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

As the Senior Manager of Residential Services, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the smooth and effective functioning of residential program services. This includes:

  • Training and guiding management-level staff to foster a unified and integrated approach to residential service management.
  • Ensuring compliance with care standards, policies, and regulations through diligent oversight of plans of correction based on evaluations and monitoring visits.
  • Coordinating corrective actions for program services to guarantee timely completion of all necessary adjustments.
  • Assisting in the administration of residential and program services to maintain adherence to relevant regulations.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time position.
  • Standard work hours are 1st shift (8:00 AM to 4:00 PM), Monday through Friday, with a 30-minute lunch break.
  • Occasional responsibilities may extend to 2nd and 3rd shifts as required.
  • Weekend and holiday work may be necessary.
  • Overtime and travel may be part of the role.
  • Free parking is available.
  • Salary: Starting salary may be non-negotiable in certain instances.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Experience and Training:

  • One year as a Residential Services Unit Manager (commonwealth title); or
  • Four years of professional therapeutic experience in a residential program providing rehabilitative, restorative, or habilitative care for individuals with developmental disabilities, including three years in a supervisory role, and a bachelor's degree in behavioral sciences, psychology, social work, education, nursing, business, or hospital administration; or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training that includes three years of professional supervisory therapeutic experience in a residential program.

Other Requirements:

  • Must meet residency requirements.
  • Ability to perform essential job functions is necessary.

Legal Requirements:

  • A conditional offer of employment will necessitate a medical examination.
  • This position is subject to the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act, requiring satisfactory criminal history reports.
