Our team is looking for a Temp Document Control Clerk to join them. You will report to the Document Control Manager and will have an onsite work schedule in Chatsworth, CA.
This is a temporary position, 10 months with the possibility of becoming a direct employee.
To be considered for the Temp Document Control opening, here's what you'll need to bring with you:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in a relevant field is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic understanding of document control principles and procedures.
- Familiarity with aerospace industry standards and regulations is advantageous.
- Proficiency in using document control software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Maintain accurate records of document control activities, including logs, reports, and metrics. Generate periodic reports as needed.
- Respond to requests for document retrieval promptly, ensuring that authorized personnel have access to the required information.
- Maintain an organized and efficient document control system, including the creation, revision, and archiving of documents related to aerospace engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance.
- Accurately input and update information in document control databases and systems, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, quality management systems, and aerospace regulations. Familiarize yourself with relevant standards such as AS9100 and ISO 9001.
- Respond to requests for document retrieval promptly, ensuring that authorized personnel have access to the required information.
This position requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
Compensation Pay Range
$20-$25/hr
