Overview

Would you like to flex your "sales muscles" in a dynamic, fast-paced environment? Surgical Directions is seeking candidates for our Strategic Client Advisor (SCA) position, a key role in our high-performing Growth department. This role will interface with some of the largest, and most sophisticated healthcare systems in the country This is a unique opportunity to support sales in a blended sales hunter and farmer mindset with a major role in supporting client and company success.

The SCA will work with Growth department leadership, Sales Executives, and Subject Matter Expert teams. You will be at the front lines of the sales process to support bringing in new clients and growing current clients. The SCA will perform a wide variety of activities focused on managing incoming sales leads, qualifying them, and providing support to the appropriate sales team, managing the internal sales processes including developing presentations, proposals, initiating contract paperwork, and documenting all activities in our CRM.

This role requires attention to detail, a professional presence, a sense of urgency, and a passion for improving healthcare.

Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities
  • The Strategic Client Advisor (SCA) will work with Sales Executives at the front lines of the sales process for both new and current clients
  • Establish contact with identified leads by phone and monitor progress
  • Qualify leads and share relevant marketing materials to develop the lead
  • Prepare qualified leads for introduction meetings with the Sales Executive and remain engaged in the sales cycle until close
  • CRM data entry documenting daily updates on sales activities, deal progress, notes, etc.
  • Customization of Surgical Directions presentation, proposal, and other materials for the sales cycle
  • Initiate the internal contract process and manage internally until close
  • Partner with Sales Executives and SMEs to grow current clients
  • Build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships with internal members of the sales cycle
  • Live by our core values and service standards
  • Occasional travel to clients
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum 5 years' experience working in healthcare
  • Preferred experience selling services to health systems

Work Environment

Jobs in this group are required to function in a fast-paced environment with occasional high-pressure or emergent and stressful situations. Frequent interaction with a diverse population including team members, providers, patients, insurance companies and other members of the public.
