Position Overview:

In this role, reporting to the Senior Director of Financial Planning & Analysis, the Strategic Financial Advisor will collaborate closely with regional and branch management teams. This position will act as a financial leader for a designated geographical area, providing essential support in areas such as forecasting, budgeting, and the analysis of financial and operational key performance indicators (KPIs). The primary goal is to equip Regional Vice Presidents with critical financial insights and operational decision-making support while ensuring alignment with the company's financial objectives. The Strategic Financial Advisor will be expected to assist across all business lines within the region.

**This role allows for remote work, with occasional travel to the corporate headquarters for collaborative meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather and evaluate various metrics to assess implications for budgeting, projects, and program initiatives.
  • Effectively distill and summarize complex financial data into meaningful, high-level analyses that drive results.
  • Identify opportunities to utilize a structured-autonomy approach to expedite new business development.
  • Initiate and finalize business case proposals aimed at enhancing customer retention strategies across all operational divisions.
  • Foster and maintain robust working relationships with Corporate Departments, Regional Presidents, and Executive Leadership.
  • Analyze and quantify both new and historical business data.
  • Oversee controllership and reporting for specific business segments.
  • Design and recommend evidence-based methodologies for turnover reporting and cost calculations.
  • Conduct ad hoc business analyses as required.

Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting; an MBA is desirable.
  • CPA and/or MBA or a related advanced degree preferred.
  • CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) designation preferred.
  • A minimum of five years in a similar role with significant financial responsibilities.
  • Experience in delivering projects and initiatives that yield measurable financial outcomes, with a focus on driving organic growth.
  • Experience in the healthcare sector is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Experience with Private Equity-backed companies is beneficial but not required.
  • Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint are essential; familiarity with financial accounting software such as Workday, Oracle/NetSuite, Power BI, or other business intelligence tools is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Ability to travel as needed, approximately 10% of the time, subject to business requirements.
