About the Role

When businesses collaborate with Second City Works, they gain unique insights and skills that enhance collaboration and creativity among their teams and clients.

Engagements with our clients can take various forms, including workshops, keynote presentations, tailored video content, corporate entertainment, and more. We are expanding our sales team to increase our influence and meet the growing market demand for our solutions.

As a Client Partner, you will serve as an individual contributor in an inside sales role, where your primary responsibility will be to identify and qualify high-potential prospects for the business.

Given our exceptional products and services, one of your main priorities will be to educate potential customers about the value proposition associated with The Second City's offerings, aiming to swiftly qualify and close prospective opportunities.

You will work closely with clients to assess their needs and present tailored solutions based on your product knowledge. You will play a crucial role in the prospecting and qualification phases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify, engage, and secure clients through inbound leads, account prospecting, and uncovering opportunities for strategic partnerships.
  • Communicate the essence of Second City Works: our identity, capabilities, and how we uniquely enhance engagement and connection within any organization.
  • Manage all stages of the sales lifecycle across various scenarios, including new prospects, reactivations, and growth within existing accounts.
  • Collaborate with Client Services and Creative Talent to customize client programs and solutions, ensuring we fulfill our commitments.
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of proven success in Inside Sales, with experience managing and achieving an annual quota of $1M.
  • Experience in selling products or services over the phone or virtually, while effectively navigating multiple stakeholders within an organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to self-manage schedules, targets, and timelines.
  • Exceptional communication skills that foster collaboration and teamwork.
  • Experience with thorough account research and communication, showcasing sales success driven by curiosity, resilience, and likability.
  • Proficient in Salesforce, Zoom, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
Desired Qualifications
  • Training in or familiarity with improvisational comedy and its underlying theories.
  • Successful experience in sales within the talent, HR, or learning sectors.
  • Preferred knowledge of Outreach, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn, and Loom.

This is a full-time, exempt position with a base salary plus sales commissions.
