Summary: Supports the sales team by providing analysis, design, configuration, and validation of custom computer systems and full stack solutions by performing the following duties:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following (Other duties may be assigned):

  • Demonstrates commitment to core values by leading, acting and behaving in a manner consistent with these values.
  • Works with sales team as a technical advisor to promote and sell products, solutions and services in a customer facing role.
  • Pre and Post sales technical engagement support for customers.
  • Gathers requirements from the customer and communicates with the engineering team for solution development.
  • Creates solution/system BoMs and SoWs for sales to generate quotes.
  • Provides technical services to clients relating to use, operation, and maintenance of equipment.
  • Provides technical training to internal and external customers.
Essential Education, Skills and Experience:
  • Associate degree in engineering or IT related field and 3+ years’ experience in a sales engineering environment.
  • Familiar with server and workstation hardware, Windows Server, Virtualization, and Linux configuration and maintenance.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Network design and copper/fiber cabling systems experience.
  • Complete understanding of the entire OSI model.
  • Storage system experience a plus.
  • BASH scripting or other automation/coding experience a plus.
  • Sales Experience a plus.
