Responsibilities
The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing production systems and processes to ensure efficiency and high product quality:
- Investigate and implement necessary manufacturing improvements
- Monitor the progress of jobs and provide necessary direction
- Facilitate training sessions to internal employees as needed
- Coordinate the implementation of ECNs, internally or customer-driven
- Update product related documentation and instruction sheets as required
- Work cooperatively with the Program Manager on new product launches
- Ensure state and federal legal compliance regarding safety and regulations
- Other duties as assigned
- College Diploma or University Degree in Engineering
- 5+ years of experience within a manufacturing environment
- Solid understanding of Geometric Dimensioning + Tolerancing
- Thorough knowledge of TS 16949/ISO 14001
