Responsibilities

The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing production systems and processes to ensure efficiency and high product quality:

  • Investigate and implement necessary manufacturing improvements
  • Monitor the progress of jobs and provide necessary direction
  • Facilitate training sessions to internal employees as needed
  • Coordinate the implementation of ECNs, internally or customer-driven
  • Update product related documentation and instruction sheets as required
  • Work cooperatively with the Program Manager on new product launches
  • Ensure state and federal legal compliance regarding safety and regulations
  • Other duties as assigned


Experience

  • College Diploma or University Degree in Engineering
  • 5+ years of experience within a manufacturing environment
  • Solid understanding of Geometric Dimensioning + Tolerancing
  • Thorough knowledge of TS 16949/ISO 14001
