Voyage Healthcare is seeking a full-time, experienced IT Support Specialist, to work out of our Corporate Office in Brooklyn Park. This position requires occasionally traveling to our nearby clinic locations (Osseo, Crystal, Maple Grove and Plymouth). The IT Support Specialist is the first responder for all employee technology concerns. In addition, provides technical support to end users and hardware/software troubleshooting. The work schedule is 40 hours a week but occasional weekend, and/or after-hours work may be needed. Being part of the on-call rotation is required.

Responsibilities:
  • Respond to IT support requests following IT procedures:
    • IT support requests are received via phone, ticketing system, and in person
    • Assist with diagnosing hardware and software concerns
    • Use available IT resources to assist end users
    • Provide resources to users as appropriate
    • Escalate situations requiring urgent attention as appropriate
    • Log all IT support requests into IT ticketing system including resolutions
  • Hardware support can include but is not limited to:
    • Laptop and desktop computers
    • Printers/Copiers/Fax
    • Desktop scanners
    • Peripheral equipment (headsets, mice, keyboards, monitors)
    • Label printers
    • Phones
  • Provide Microsoft Office support
  • Assist set-up of new employees with IT equipment
  • Ongoing inventory/tracking of existing hardware, software, and consumables, as needed
  • Imaging of laptops and desktop computers
  • Stay current with system information, changes, and updates
  • Perform projects and other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • A self-starter who can work well with a team, be organized, communicate clearly, verbally and in writing, and able to follow through on IT support concerns and projects. Requires attention to detail and the ability to problem solve using resources provided. Must be able to adapt and learn new skills.
  • Associate or Technical School degree preferred; or equivalent combination of education and professional work experience.
  • Prefer one year or more of experience in end-user technology support environment.
  • Valid driver’s license
