About the role
As the
Amazon Operations Senior Coordinator , the core responsibility is to coordinate the inbound flow of goods between the point of origin to the destination point for all Amazon shipments. This includes proactive and effective communication with external suppliers, freight forwarders, and inbound logistics companies. This position reports to the Director of Supply Chain Operations and Logistics. Works closely with Senior Inbound Logistics and Inventory Coordinator, Amazon Team, Customer Support Team, and freight forwarders.
Responsibilities
Create and manage FBA shipments bound for Amazon warehouses.
Communicate with suppliers to ensure that required packing and routing guidelines are met for inbound shipments to our Amazon Freight forwarder.
Manage an inventory tracker that lists out the expected ship, delivery, and receipt dates for inbound inventory, which is shared with the internal team.
Communicate product arrivals to Amazon team so that marketing/promotions can be scheduled and initiated accordingly.
Communicate with Amazon Freight Forwarder to inform them of any inbound Pos so they can prep and ensure quick receipt
Communicate the FBA shipment requirements to the freight forwarder that is tasked with prepping Amazon POs for shipment to Amazon warehouses
Submit removal requests from Amazon to send to our 3PL, Aquavian freight, SD warehouse, or for disposal.
Submit orders to our 3PL to transfer inventory to Amazon
Create shipments to send to AWD warehouse
Visits to our local warehouse as needed
Provide generalized Support where needed throughout the Operations department
Qualifications
1-2+ years of inventory management experience in an e-commerce or retail environment. Direct experience within an e-comm environment is preferred.
Experience with Amazon Seller Central a plus
Experience with IMS or ERP a plus (NetSuite, Stitch Labs, etc.).
Strong organization skills and attention to detail is a must.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel.
General understanding of inbound logistics processes, systems, and terminology is preferred.
Ability to efficiently and effectively communicate with internal and external partners.
Ability to present the company in a professional manner in order to ensure external partners are performing in accordance with the contractual SLA requirements.
Ability to prioritize and balance workload in accordance with company’s overall goals.

Expected starting salary is $26/hour (based on experience and skill set)
This is a full-time, hourly position based out of San Diego, CA;offering hybrid/remote flexibility
Position is expected to start in early July 2024
