The ideal candidate will support Second Level Engineering (SLE) engineers. Analyze, interpret, and process En Route Automation Modernization (ERAM) Automation Issues Management System (AIMS) Engineering Requests (ERs), Trouble Reports (TRs) and Adaptation Requests (ARs) through the SLE Process Lifecycle to ensure problems and enhancements follow Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) procedural requirements and are brought up to FAA standards and safety in the National Airspace System (NAS). Support System Requirements SLEs by coordinating/verifying the maintenance, editing, and version control of Second Level technical documentation.
Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Must be a US citizen or 3-year permanent resident.
Hybrid schedule of two days per week reporting to the William J. Hughes Technical Center in Pomona, NJ or as required.
Requirements
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications
Education & Experience : Candidate must have Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years of process improvement experience or a Master’s degree with a minimum of 3 years process improvement experience.
Specific training and/or certification in one of the following: iCMM, ISO, CM, or PMP is required
Skills, Abilities & Certifications:
Required:
Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office experience (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, etc.).
Documentation (Maintenance, Editing, Quality Control).
Prepare meeting agendas, prepare and disposition meeting minutes, prepare slides and present at Zoom/Teams and In-person meetings.
Perform data entry in ticketing system.
Process-oriented, self-motivated individual with attention to detail and ability to multitask.
Good time management and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work alone and collaborate with a team.
Preferred:
AIMS, Peer Review Automation Tool (PRAT), Configuration Management Automation (CMA), Knowledge Services Network (KSN). Preferred, but not required.
