Job Summary

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for conducting process and product audits, implementing resolutions, and exercising judgment to select methods and techniques for arriving at solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and be able to lift up to 25 pounds. Occasional travel may be required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct process and product audits to ensure team members are following standardized operating procedures and adhering to all quality standards.
  • Implement resolutions from basic to moderately complex problems.
  • Exercise judgment within procedures and practices in selecting methods and techniques for arriving at solutions.
  • Implement process improvements to continuously improve quality.
  • Cross train in multiple departments or stations and flex to other similar departments based on business necessity.
  • Assist with NPI/ECN changes and other duties as assigned by Quality Supervisor or Manager.
  • Suggest and implement improvements of existing equipment, designs, and/or processes to improve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity.
  • Resolve problems with assistance from peers or supervisors depending on the level and complexity.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
