Job Summary: N&M Transfer has an exciting opportunity for a Human Resources Internship at our corporate office in Neenah. This is an excellent opportunity for a college student pursuing their Human Resources degree to work during the 2024 /2025 school year. This internship will include experience in a variety of human resources related areas such as: talent acquisition, HRIS implementation and launch, HR support, employee relations, and/or benefits administration.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to the HR team on a full spectrum of activities
  • Help cover HR Assistant duties while they are on maternity leave to include:

o Record keeping of certificates, trainings, applications, timesheets, and write ups;

o Preparation of new hire orientation packets; and

o Processing of employee terminations including updating personnel files, producing term communications both internally and for exiting employee, and system updates. Among other duties.

  • Assist Recruiters with and participate in full-cycle talent acquisition and onboarding
  • Support the implementation and launch of a brand new HRIS. This will include gaining an understanding of both our current and new HR system to assist in testing, reporting, and other projects as necessary
  • Assist with production of training materials for new HRIS and then helping to execute the training of employees on system usage
  • Help Benefits Coordinator with benefits administration and open enrollment as needed
  • Other tasks/duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
  • Be in pursuit of a Human Resources degree or similar
  • Strong desire to learn in a variety of areas
  • Sense of curiosity
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Detail oriented with good organization
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently as needed
