Seeking a meticulous and dedicated Accounts Payable Specialist to perform a variety of clerical accounting functions and engage in special projects supporting our business accounting operations. This role involves recording, analyzing, and assisting in the maintenance of accounting records, ledgers, and journal entries. The specialist will also process invoices using SAP and ReadSoft software, collect and summarize accounting data, assist in the preparation of financial reports, and resolve various accounting issues. Additionally, the role includes interacting with vendors, providing guidance to new associates, and supporting management with administrative functions.
Hard Skills:
3+ years experience in AP or AR
Proficiency in SAP and ReadSoft software is highly preferred
Experience with 3-way matching
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs
Soft Skills:
Good working knowledge of accounting procedures
Ability to reconcile statements and accounts
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Job Type:
This is a contract position with a duration of 3 Month(s).
Work Site:
This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Lakewood, Colorado and some days remote.
The position starts with a fully in-office first week, then transitions to a flexible schedule with one required day in the office (Tuesday).
