Position Title: Reporting & Analytics Team Lead

Position summary:

The Reporting & Analytics Team Lead will be a part of the Reporting & Analytics team, supporting our clients in their reporting needs. This position is responsible for ensuring accurate and effective reporting is delivered to the Account Management team and MSP programs. This position may manage medium to large sized accounts as well as strategic accounts by acting as the liaison between the Reporting & Analytics team and Account Management for those assigned accounts. Responsibilities of this position also include various ad hoc reporting requests as requested by the client or Account Management team. Other responsibilities include maintaining detailed SOPs and a catalog of managed reports, as well as running and executing various reports using Excel or appropriate VMS according to provided SOPs. This person will be knowledgeable and capable of building VMS reports based on requirements provided.

As a leader on the team, this position may also oversee or manage other analysts, as well as partake in training and mentoring them. When appropriate, the Team Lead will give direction to other team members. The Team Lead may also lead departmental initiatives and projects as requested.

This role will also need to become proficient in Monumetrix, Monument's proprietary analytics tool. With this tool, the Team Lead is expected to be able to demo the tool, if / when needed, as well as use the tool for various analysis in support of his / her assigned clients.

Additionally, this role will partake in team training and department activities.

Responsibilities
  • Perform accurate routine scheduled reporting via Excel or VMS
  • Create and/or modify existing Excel client reporting based on requirements provided
  • Build and edit reports within the VMS based on requirements provided
  • Demonstrate critical thinking and provide meaningful analysis to supported program teams
  • Ensure SOPs are accurate and updated when needed
  • Ensure that work queue is being worked and deliverables delivered on time
  • Manage reporting portfolio and provide analysis for assigned clients
  • Take on managerial duties of other analysts on the team
  • Work to meet or exceed service level agreements and optimize reporting processes by recommending improvements.
  • Lead client implementations and data integrations as requested
  • Maintain compliance with company / department reporting and data policies and procedures
  • Communicate reporting status and bring issues to appropriate stakeholders
  • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned
  • Assist in mentoring and training of other analysts
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3+ years in Reporting and / or Analytical environment
  • Minimum 1+ years of leadership experience
  • Experience with Vendor Management Systems a plus but not required
  • Experience using SQL preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field preferred
  • Expert Microsoft Excel skills
  • Strong analytical skillset required
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Fluent in English
