Senior Data Analytics Consultant

The ideal candidate for the Senior Data Analytics Consultant position will possess a strong analytical background and reside within a reasonable distance of Elevance Health PulsePoint locations. This role focuses on utilizing sophisticated analytics to derive essential insights across various domains, including member behavior, product and program development, operational efficiency, and tailored health solutions. The consultant will collaborate with business leaders and internal stakeholders to leverage these insights for innovation, member engagement, program evaluation, and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver analytical insights to facilitate the development of business solutions.
  • Create and enhance analysis frameworks for diagnosing issues and identifying opportunities.
  • Advise on the design and implementation of tests or pilot initiatives.
  • Contribute to the formulation of new programs based on the outcomes of tests and pilots.
  • Construct predictive models to effectively identify target members.
  • Assess clinical, utilization, and financial results of programs and initiatives.
  • Lead applied research endeavors.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree (MS, MA, or PhD) in a quantitative field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare analytics.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Proficiency in statistical analysis and programming languages such as SQL, Python, R, and SAS.
  • Familiarity with USCDI, FHIR, and interoperable standards.
  • Prior analytical experience within the healthcare sector is advantageous.
