Position Summary: As a Senior Financial Reporting Accountant, you will play a crucial role in advancing your accounting career within a dynamic work environment that offers a hybrid schedule, comprehensive benefits, and competitive remuneration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of monthly closing journal entries, including standard accruals, payroll, depreciation, and other miscellaneous entries for North American operations.
  • Conduct monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts.
  • Issue monthly gross margin reports and support other management reporting needs.
  • Participate in the implementation of new internal control procedures and process documentation.
  • Streamline processes to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Assist in the preparation of quarterly tax returns and annual filings.
  • Generate consolidated financial statements for a high-volume international company.
  • Support audit requests and prepare financial footnotes.
  • Contribute to ad hoc financial reports and analyses.

Work Schedule: This position operates on a Monday through Friday schedule, with a hybrid work model. The ideal candidate will be required to work in the office as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in accounting or financial reporting.
  • Public accounting experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions.
  • Excellent critical thinking skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage workflow effectively.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Physical Requirements: The role may require sitting for extended periods, occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds, and the ability to perform tasks that involve talking, hearing, and using hands for various functions.
