The Vice President of Marketing is responsible for the entire marketing strategy from demand generation to strategy and brand positioning, through all aspects of product marketing. The individual in this role is expected to be data-driven, analytical, strong at communication, and well-versed in all aspects of innovative marketing technology and tools, especially revenue creation.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

LEADERSHIP
  • Serve as a key member of the Executive Team, communicating the marketing strategy and outcomes to the Executive team and investors.
  • Partners with other senior leaders, marketing, and sales to continue to grow our reach and impact. Present and effectively communicate.
  • Report performance to senior leadership and key management, highlighting actual sales, sales leads, forecasting and trends for continuous improvement.
  • Responsible for and owns the organization's overall marketing strategy, execution, and oversight of our organization's integrated Marketing and Communications, including from end-to-end, setting goals, and prioritizing initiatives.
  • Build a strong culture of collaboration, trust, and credibility within the teams and across the organization.
  • Build and manage a high performing, metrics driven, Marketing organization through effective customer acquisition, campaign management, digital marketing, partner marketing and marketing operations.
  • Ability to foster a strong culture that aligns with our Core Values.
  • Oversees the daily workflow of the marketing department, providing mentorship, course corrections, and timely feedback. Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
MARKETING
  • Leverage customer insights to develop integrated marketing campaigns and brand storytelling to drive customer acquisition and retention.
  • Interfaces with all divisions and brand ambassadors in order to gain testimonials, feedback, focus groups, case studies, etc.
  • Drive our digital marketing positioning to conceive and implement successful lead-generation campaigns across all channels.
  • Develop and build upon a vision, implementing a marketing and an inbound and outbound lead generation strategy (including product, channel and brand marketing), highlighting our competitive advantage to advance the organization's reputation.
  • Drive a digital roadmap designed to optimize customer acquisition and retention results
  • Constructs, tests, and executes strategies that will generate revenue at scale
  • Develop and manage our crisis response program.
  • Establish and manage day-in and day-out testing and learning plans to continuously optimize media investments
  • In partnership with sales, identifies and leads the pursuit of the targeted new business and contract expansion opportunities within target accounts. Leverages a customer-diagnostic sales strategy and consultative approach to uncover customer-specific issues and/or opportunities
  • Identifies and manages resources to develop proposals that position the full range of capabilities & solutions
  • Measure the performance of all activities and campaigns, assess them against goals, and adjust strategy and activities to achieve them.
  • Lead collaboratively, working with and through other organizational leaders to bring marketing insights and strategies to cross functional stakeholders, including communications, development and new business advancement.
  • Identify, establish, and rigorously measure KPIs and progress against articulated growth objectives and develop reporting for executives and companywide consumption
  • Develop new, and nurture existing, relationships with key partners, aligning on mutual goals and driving implementation through a variety of co-marketing efforts.
  • Directs and implements advertising and promotional activities.
  • Analyzes target market information to identify and recommend effective marketing approaches.
  • Identifies new market segments that will benefit from company products.
  • Prepares effective advertising campaigns based on market research.
  • Maintains knowledge on emerging products and services.
  • Collaborates with senior executives to develop growth plans for the organization.
OTHER
  • Work with Finance to develop and manage AOP and financials for Marketing, including but not limited to: events, social media, website, lead generation, etc.
  • Collaborates with VP of People on Team Member communications and platforms.
  • Participates in professional development and networking conferences and events.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends and best practices in marketing, lead generation, and all other aspects of marketing.

  • Demonstrated understanding of industry trends and end-user purchasing behavior
  • Strong project management and collaboration skills with a proven ability to balance shifting priorities and meet deadlines.
