We are seeking a full-time Patient Services Specialist to work in the front office at our busy clinic located at Providence St. Vincent in SW Portland.You will work with exceptional physicians who value their team and working together to help our patients get the best possible care.

Our busy practice receives a high volume of patient appointments and calls, and we are searching for an experienced candidate with strong attention to detail, a friendly demeanor, great attitude, and the ability to multitask in this fast-paced, team environment.

Primary duties include welcoming and greeting patients, collecting co-pays, obtaining and completing insurance information, answering phones, scheduling new and existing patient appointments, scanning, updating records, and other duties as assigned.

Workdays will be Monday to Friday (40 hours).

Hiring pay based on open position, experience, and credentials:

Level I - $18.33- $24.81 per hour.

Level II - $20.17 - $27.29 per hour.

Level III - $22.18 - $30.01 per hour.

Placement within levels based on specialty group, experience, additional duties.

Medical, Vision, and Rx Insurance is 100% paid for by The Oregon Clinic for full-time employees.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of medical front office experience in a specialty clinic
  • Prior EMR experience preferred; EPIC experience a plus
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent attendance and work ethic
  • Positive attitude and desire to be a team player
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with patients, staff and providers
