We are seeking a full-time Patient Services Specialist to join our Gastroenterology West division located in SW Portland.You will work with exceptional physicians who value their team and working together to help our patients get the best possible care.Our busy practice receives a high volume of patient appointments and calls, and we are searching for an experienced candidate with a friendly demeanor, great attitude, and customer-focused work ethic. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 year of medical front office experience. Candidates must have great attendance, strong typing skills, the ability to multitask and be able to maintain a positive attitude while working on an exceptional team.Primary duties include preparing patient charts, scheduling of Poor preps, CRNA walk-in evaluations, processing check-out orders, and assisting check-in staff with patient arrivals as needed. Additional duties may include clinic check ins, scheduling appointments, obtaining and completing insurance information, answering phones, and updating records as needed.Workdays will be Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week. No weekends or eveningsHiring pay based on open position, experience, and credentials:Level I - $18.33- $24.81 per hourLevel II - $20.17 - $27.29 per hourLevel III - $22.18 - $30.01 per hourPlacement within levels based on specialty group, experience, additional duties.Medical, Vision, and Rx Insurance is 100% paid for by The Oregon Clinic for full-time employees.Qualifications:Minimum of 2 years of previous medical front office experience is preferred. Prior experience with EMR preferred.EPIC knowledge a plus.
