Patient Services Specialist On-Call

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Services Specialist to join our team at Providence Milwaukie Hospital. As a key member of our revenue cycle team, you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely patient account reimbursement.
Key Responsibilities- Obtain and verify complex demographic, insurance, and medical information to ensure accurate patient account reimbursement.
- Document patient information in a timely and accurate manner.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to resolve patient account discrepancies and ensure seamless reimbursement processes.
- Stay up-to-date with changing healthcare regulations and industry standards to ensure compliance.
- Associate's degree in Healthcare or Business Administration.
- National Certification of CHAA upon hire.
- 3 years of experience in Patient Access or Business office setting.
- Experience with insurance eligibility systems and medical billing codes.
- Knowledge of Epic applications and medical terminology.
