Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Services Specialist to join our team at Providence Milwaukie Hospital. As a key member of our revenue cycle team, you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely patient account reimbursement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Obtain and verify complex demographic, insurance, and medical information to ensure accurate patient account reimbursement.
  • Document patient information in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to resolve patient account discrepancies and ensure seamless reimbursement processes.
  • Stay up-to-date with changing healthcare regulations and industry standards to ensure compliance.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Healthcare or Business Administration.
  • National Certification of CHAA upon hire.
  • 3 years of experience in Patient Access or Business office setting.
  • Experience with insurance eligibility systems and medical billing codes.
  • Knowledge of Epic applications and medical terminology.
