Amergis Healthcare is actively looking for a Revenue Cycle Specialist that would be interested in a 13 week, Full-Time Contract at a Facility in Chicago, IL. Additional details of the contract are below:
Position: Revenue Cycle Specialist
Location: Chicago, IL
Pay Rate: $30/hr
Schedule:
•8:00A - 4pm or 9:00A - 5pm (Needs to be flexible)
Duration:
•13 Weeks (Likely Extension)
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:
•Insurance verification
•Ticket review and claim submission
•Payment posting
•Claim research and resolution
•Data collection for UDS data reporting
•Medicare and Medicaid credit balance reports
•340B Pharmacy Revenue Tracking
Requirements:
•Preferred 4+ years of experience in performing outpatient medical billing in a FQHC setting
•Preferred experience with Centricity/Athena
•Experience using Office 365, including outlook, share point, excel, and word
•Familiar with coding
•Experience with reading and understanding explanation of benefits and the ability to post payments and follow up denied/rejected claims according to department guidelines and protocol.
•Medical terminology and ICD10/CPT coding principles
•3 years' experience of Medicare, State of Illinois Medicaid, Managed Care billing
