Primary Responsibilities:

Develop verification for electronics products ensuring program milestones and quality are met. Analyze and understand System and Software requirements. Provide feedback on system requirements to ensure alignment of understanding and to verify they are testable. Drive improvements to the system test infrastructure capable of testing required aspects of the system, driving for as much automation as possible. Develop system tests to verify the system meets requirements and is assembled according the architecture. Execute system tests, develop test reports, and communicate to stakeholders. Support validation lab with the creation and evaluation of verification equipment, providing procedural recommendations, and in evaluating test results. Support troubleshooting of product issues to determine root cause, propose solutions, and support necessary updates. Collaborate closely with system, software, and hardware development teams. Maintain legacy equipment and provide suggestions for the continuous improvement of the test environment, including equipment and architectural approaches. Contribute to continuous improvement of system test processes and practices. Support system test aspects of program bids.

Other Responsibilities:

Attend job-required training ISO 26262 Functional Safety Management Purchasing/budgeting electronic parts and test equipment Support VA/VE efforts Mentor more junior engineers in system test.

Education & Experience:

Bachelor of Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science or related field or relevant experience 5+ years of automotive embedded system/software verification Ability to define test methodologies and strategies with limited supervision Knowledge of ASPICE Integration and Qualification Testing Strong test equipment troubleshooting skills preferred National Instruments Tool (hardware and software) experience preferred Knowledge of cybersecurity testing methodology preferred Experience with Vector tools preferred Ability to work with Global Teams

Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

python, C#, C/C++, SQL, GUI development (tools) Ability to create custom drivers, test suites, and interfaces Ability to root cause issues Ability to contribute to peer reviews
