Overview

Self-starter who can work independently as well as with other departments to sell the Cox Business Center to markets as assigned including corporate, non-profit and social.

This role will pay a salary of $55,000 to $65,000.

This position will remain open until August 31, 2024

Responsibilities
  • Manages the Sales team in accomplishing sales goals.
  • Uses Sales and Marketing principles to promote the facility.
  • Sends client pre-event information and follow-up information that affects booking.
  • Quotes/negotiates rates and writes formal license agreements.
  • Proofs and approves contracts.
  • Manages pre-event correspondence and meetings until such time as account can be turned over to an Event Coordinator and Catering.
  • Responsible for goals for markets and a plan to achieve them including cold calling, tradeshows and other travel, special events, etc.
  • Provide the highest customer service excellence.
  • Maintain a cooperative, team-like attitude in working with supervisors and fellow employees (including other departments).
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications

Minimum Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in Communications or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 3-5 years' sales-related experience required
  • Facility/industry experience strongly preferred.
Computer Skills
  • Operate a personal computer using Windows, Office and other standard office equipment.
  • Must have strong computer working skills in MS Office.

  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
