Oversees and manages the daily operations of multiple companies. Monitoring and analyzing accounting data and producing financial reports and or statements while using proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Accounting Manager. The Accounting Manager will work closely with the Finance team and report to the CFO.
The accounting manager is responsible for overseeing the areas of accounts payable, accounts receivable and fixed assets. This position will develop and maintain accounting procedures, practices, and principles and prepare and review ledger entry reconciliations and general ledger system.
Responsibilities
· Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department including accounts
payable/receivable,
cash receipts, general ledger and fixed asset activity
· Monitoring and analyzing accounting data used to produce financial reports or statements
· Assist in the month end close process
· Assist in producing financial reports and statements
· Establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies and principles
· Providing recommendations to improve systems, controls, procedures and initiating corrective action
Qualifications
· Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
· Ability to direct and supervise.
· Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, related field
· Proficient in Microsoft Office, accounting databases
· Excellent communication skills
· Ability to work independently and in a team environment
· CPA or CMA designation preferred
· Experience in QuickBooks preferred
