We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team at Neogen. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing our domestic process for capital and intangible assets within SAP S4 HANA and Legacy ERP. This includes supervision of one Fixed Asset Accountant and management of our R&D accounting process.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement internal controls and conduct regular review procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Review and reconcile capital accounts, record expense, and complete quarterly and year-end workpapers and disclosures.
- Provide support for internal and external audits, and maintain confidentiality.
- Organize annual physical inventory for all material US locations.
- Track actual spend versus budget and complete variance analysis for R&D projects.
- Develop and maintain R&D monthly close process, including allocation and settlement of costs between R&D projects and cost centers.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- 6 or more years of related work experience, with supervisory experience preferred.
- SAP S4 HANA experience is strongly preferred, with Thomson Reuters Fixed Assets CS a plus.
