**HR Coordinator / Crew Member Services & Operations Coordinator**

*****About This Position*****

We are looking for an Crew Member Services & Operations Coordinator to be based at Boca Raton, FL headquarters and also at our Distribution Center in Deerfield Beach.

Your mission is to ensure that we are proactively and reactively providing services and support to crew members with a sense of urgency, accuracy, and with the highest level of customer service with a relentless desire to support a culture of people and ensuring that we are always considering our actions through the lens of the crew members, from onboarding to offboarding the company. Our desire is to create world class crew member experience.

Reporting to the Director, Crew Member Experience and Culture, this is a critically important role as you will act as the main crew member lifeline for all basic HR requests as well as performing a variety of administrative HR duties. You will also get to facilitate daily HR functions such as maintaining crew member records, coordinating onboarding for new crew members, HRIS administration, and compliance related work, etc., This role also plays a significant role in recruiting with a focus on growing our companys including reviewing resumes, phone screening candidates, and scheduling interviews for the hiring team. As 4oceans Crew Member Services & Ops Coordinator you will have the opportunity to add value to our positive, fun, engaging company culture by organizing crew member events, learning opportunities, etc.

*****Other fun stuff youll get to do:*****

* Execute & improve upon existing HR processes such as on-boarding, orientation, benefits, status changes, leaves of absence, etc

* Act as first line HR support for our team members with ability to effectively answer crew member questions and escalate to other members of the HR team as appropriate

* Assist with recruiting for a variety of positions including screening applicants and scheduling qualified candidates for interviews with the hiring managers.

* Assist with benefits administration including maintaining a thorough understanding of benefits available to crew members

* Maintain crew member files (digital). Complete appropriate paperwork for all crew member life cycle events (new hires, promotion, transfer, terminations, etc).

* Keep Payroll informed timely of new hires, transfers, job changes, raises, terminations and other changes.

* Assist with payroll and ad-hoc HR projects.

* Assists team members and leaders with basic interpretation of HR/company policies and procedures.

*As our Crew Member Services & Ops Coordinator you will bring your 3+ years of HR experience and excellent interpersonal skills to act as a primary support for all things HR .*

*****Here are a few other things we will need you to have:*****

* 3+ to 5 years of relevant HR experience in a generalist role

* Ability to maintain confidentiality with tact, diplomacy, and discretion

* Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint

* Ability to work autonomously and get things done within the formal and informal structure(s)

* Exceptionally organized.

* A strong desire to improve systems and processes, to be creative and make recommendations.

* Willingness to bring a positive outlook, a sense of urgency in resolving crew member questions, concerns, etc.

* Brings a sense of openness, compassion, and a desire to lean in.

* Enthusiasm for event planning and coming up with creative engagement opportunities and providing coordination and execution of events.

* Experience processing employee record changes within an HRIS

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to partner with various levels of leadership within the organization

* Comfort in a fast-paced, always changing start-up environment

* HR Certification (aPHR, PHR or SHRM-CP)

* Experience with ADP WFN

* Experience using Google Workspace

* Recruiting Tools (Greenhouse)

* Bilingual (Spanish preferred)

Founded In 2017, 4ocean was created with the mission to sell a product that would enable the company to fund a worldwide cleanup initiative.
