Project Manager-Organization Change Management (OCM) Certification

in OCM required Organizational Change Management PM will focus on leading the change management activities within a structured process framework.

Designing the strategic approach to managing change and support operations that fall within the domain of change management. Create and deliver strategies and plans to help employees maximize the adoption of new programs and IT implementation by honing methods of effective and sustainable behavior change. Evaluating the change impact and organizational readiness to limit potential risk. Conduct post-implementation reviews to assess the decisions and performance related to the change request. The OCM PM will play a key role in implementing fast and effective change across the enterprise. Duties/Responsibilities: Lead and implement change initiatives related to business processes and technologies. Drive adoption and proficiency of changes within the organization in compliance with client’s Change Management methodologies. Develop project strategies and plans, including stakeholder assessment, communications, leadership alignment, organization transition, change readiness, capability transfer, and end-user training. Oversee team execution in accordance with project plans, tools, and methods, and support resource planning and acquisition. Develop short and long-term goals, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and objectives, and develop and execute against an annual operational plan. Lead/facilitate meetings with the client to ensure an understanding of the current company culture, and jointly develop a change adoption plan. Identify, analyze and prepare risk mitigation tactics Provide direct support and coaching to front-line managers and supervisors as they help their direct reports through transitions. Facilitate change management activities with cross-functional team members and stakeholders to understand and ensure adoption of the Enterprise Business Transformation. Create actionable deliverables for the five change management levers: communications plan, sponsor roadmap, coaching plan, training plan, resistance management plan Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress General Experience: At least five (7) years of experience in project management in the federal government environment Specialized Skills/Experience: A solid understanding of how people go through a change and the change process. Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal. Excellent active listening skills. Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences. Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships. Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal. Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations. Resilient and tenacious with a propensity to persevere. Forward-looking with a holistic approach. Organized with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics. Problem-solving and root cause identification skills. Able to work effectively at all levels in an organization. Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others. Acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges. Familiarity with project management approaches, tools, and phases of the project lifecycle. Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts. Change management certification or designation desired. Education & Skills: Location: Remote with occasional onsite visits for meetings and data collection Typical Experience: 7 years experience in operations management Typical Education: BS in related field Other: Certified in Change Management Required-Certification example: Prosci, others.
