Key Responsibilities:
The Organizational Development Specialist will engage with senior leadership to analyze organizational dynamics and proposed changes, developing processes, training initiatives, and customized coaching aimed at enhancing the capability to effectively meet immediate organizational, divisional, or enterprise objectives while minimizing potential productivity disruptions caused by change. This role requires expertise in organizational development practices, assessment tools for individuals and teams, and survey results interpretation. Responsibilities may include:
- Providing expert consultation and technical support to program managers across all management levels.
- Creating comprehensive plans, objectives, and goals for long-term program implementation and administration, including evaluation criteria for program effectiveness.
- Demonstrating advanced strategic thinking, planning, and execution in interactions with employees and management.
- Establishing metrics for evaluating and tracking organizational development initiatives and leading special projects as required.
Required Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of leadership development methodologies and instructional design processes to ensure effective program design and continuous improvement.
- Understanding of organizational strategies to enhance team effectiveness.
- Expertise in coaching, change management, performance monitoring, and business acumen.
- Proficiency in word processing, database management, spreadsheet applications, and software tools.
- Familiarity with management and leadership principles.
- Experience with virtual meeting platforms such as GoToWebinar, Zoom, and Google Meet.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and SharePoint.
- Strong writing and communication skills in English.
- Experience in developing training programs.
- Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and process improvement capabilities.
- Ability to conduct interviews, surveys, assessments, and focus groups to support course and program design.
- Competence in operating personal computers.
- Ability to provide expert consulting and technical services.
- Capacity to advise, coach, facilitate, and collaborate with leadership to drive organizational change.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Ability to create and deliver presentations, special studies, and project reports.
- Ability to follow established criteria for evaluating leadership and management development metrics, providing insights and recommendations.
- Capability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Ability to maintain productive working relationships with colleagues and federal contracting personnel.
- Capacity to coordinate with Human Resources and other stakeholders.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Commitment to high ethical standards and professional conduct.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field with a minimum of 10 years of experience in change management.
- Master's Degree in a relevant field with a minimum of 8 years of experience in change management.
- Change Management Certification (e.g., PROSCI) is required.
Compensation:
The estimated salary range for this position is $59,000 - $200,000 per year. This range serves as a general guideline, as SRE considers various factors in compensation decisions, including skills, experience, training, and organizational needs. SRE adheres to all applicable labor laws regarding salary.
Work Environment:
This position primarily operates in a remote capacity, with flexibility based on organizational needs.
