About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Strategic Partnerships to lead our partnerships team and drive collaborative efforts with key industry players, with a particular focus on global e-commerce, mega-platform companies, and fintech solutions providers.

This role can be set up hybrid (Tues, Wed, Thurs in office) in Austin or can be a remote role with frequent travel to Austin.

Salary Range: $200-300K (based on skills and experience)

What will you be doing?

  • Grow existing partnerships; identify and negotiate new business and collaboration opportunities with the key strategic partners and stakeholders to advance our brand, products and revenue in the market.
  • Establish and execute global partner strategies, priorities and performance metrics with input from all key Auctane stakeholders.
  • Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for strategic partners, fostering strong relationships and aligning partnership goals with Auctane's business objectives.
  • Analyze the market and global ecosystem landscape, create a point of view, and define our partner specific playbook, linking them to Auctane's global strategy
  • Lead cross-functional teams focused on developing specific, targeted agreements with third parties to grow our business
  • Ensure alignment across Auctane, and lead and coordinate internal efforts in negotiating and ensuring successful implementation of partnership deals, and achieving performance metrics
  • Lead negotiations and contract discussions with strategic partners, ensuring favorable terms and mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of strategic partnerships, providing regular reporting and insights to senior leadership.
  • Coordinate external stakeholder outreach and execution with appropriate marketing, Sales and communications resources
  • Build, mentor and develop a high performing, competitive team
What are we looking for?
  • Strategic Thinking.
    • Demonstrates a clear understanding of how changes in competitors, clients, regulatory decisions and markets segments affect Auctane's business.
    • Translates broad corporate strategies into clear, specific objectives and plans.
    • Creates plans that address specific business objectives or challenges.
    • Think two - three years ahead.
    • Extensive Global Partnerships or Business Development background with deep experience in forging relationships & partnerships that enable revenue growth in the technology or e-commerce space.
    • Demonstrated success developing and delivering high-impact strategic business development opportunities that deliver measurable results
  • Direct Customer Experience
    • A committed experience to customer facing activities including, customer co-design and solutioning. Strategic value/pricing and emphasis on balancing short- and long-term goals. This individual will have significant experience building customer facing solutions. Ideal candidate is the combination of strategy and execution in front of the customer.
    • Team Building and Leadership
    • Proven success at building, developing, inspiring, and retaining a high-performing team of competitive minded professionals in a fast-paced, collaborative global environment. Systematically develops employees through stretch assignments with specific development goals.
  • Tech or Financial Services Experience
    • Experience in the technology industry, or within the payments or financial services industries, is highly desired. Product management.
    • Familiarity with global technology and e-commerce platforms.
  • Bachelor's degree required, MBA or advanced degree preferred
