Responsibilities:

Maximizing SLAs: Drive productivity and process management for operations across outbound, inbound, and reverse logistics in distribution centers.

Global Logistics Collaboration: Work with Global Distribution Centers to optimize logistics capabilities, ensuring smooth coordination for inbound shipments from production sites in Asia and Europe and outbound logistics to various global markets.

Process Improvement and Optimization: Establish and evaluate operational processes to maximize productivity and minimize costs (labor, freight, DC real estate).

Workforce Planning: Plan workforce requirements for present, mid-term, and long-term volume growth.

Inventory Control and Management: Liaise with Supply and Fulfillment teams on inventory management and DC capacity.

Distribution Center Management: Oversee distribution centers and repair logistics through supervisors and managers.

IT Collaboration: Partner with IT to develop new processes and tools for improved logistics operations.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, and other departments to ensure alignment and support for logistics planning and execution.

Transformation Leadership: Lead and manage significant positive transformations within the logistics function, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Manage allocated resources to ensure objectives are met in line with the companys mission.

Lead departmental activities, ensuring compliance with applicable legal requirements.

Promote a team environment that encourages questioning the status quo to drive growth and innovation.

Work independently, making decisions on the fly and providing supervision as needed, ensuring that logistics operations run smoothly without constant oversight.

Requirements:

Must have 5-8 years of related experience.

Must be located no more than an hours drive from Louisville, Kentucky.

Must be able to reach the UPS site DC at the distribution center on short notice.

Ability to travel once a month is required.

Experience with UPS and handling large SKU counts is essential.

SAP experience is preferred along with significant management experience.

Strong communication skills and the ability to handle stakeholder management and executive interactions.

Proven experience in leading organizational transformations and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Willingness to work on-site and travel as required.
