Position Summary:

We are looking for a Logistics Operations Manager to join our dynamic team. This role involves leading and mentoring a multi-brand logistics team while ensuring that all transportation operations are executed with excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Address and resolve transportation and logistics challenges, including customer-related issues.
  • Negotiate transportation rates and service agreements.
  • Ensure the department meets or surpasses financial objectives, analyzing the financial implications of proposed logistics modifications.
  • Oversee optimal routing structures, implementation, demand planning, and overall logistics support.
  • Act as the primary contact for managing and overseeing the logistics process, including benchmarking and vendor contract management.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and drive continuous enhancement initiatives.
  • Collaborate effectively as a team member and leader within the logistics team.
  • Monitor and achieve logistics key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Develop and maintain relationships with service providers, ensuring accountability.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the logistics sector.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with common supply chain challenges and solutions.
  • Proven leadership experience with a focus on talent development.
  • Effective communication skills, particularly with senior management.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or Operations is preferred.
  • Strong teamwork and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and follow-up skills.
  • Experience in process improvement and implementation of new procedures.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
