This is a temp-to-perm position that will transition to permanent employment based on job performance. Logistics Operations Manager Job Responsibilities:

  • Maximizing SLAs through effective productivity & process management of operations for outbound/inbound and reverse logistics across the DC’s
  • Collaborating with our Global DC in Lichtenstein to optimize logistics capabilities.
  • Establishing & evaluating operational processes to maximize productivity and minimize cost of labor, freight, and DC real estate.
  • Planning workforce for present, mid-term, and long-term volume growth
  • Liaising with the Supply and Fulfillment team on inventory management, DC capacity
  • Overseeing DC’s and Repair logistics through Supervisors/Managers
  • Collaborating with IT to develop new processes and tools.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with UPS
  • Proficiency in handling large SKU counts
  • Knowledge of SAP
  • Significant management experience
  • Travel Requirements: You will be responsible for ensuring all practices meet applicable legal requirements. You must be located within an hour's drive from Louisville Kentucky as you may be required to travel to our UPS DC site on short notice. The ability to travel to RI and NYC as needed is also required.
