Position Summary:

We are looking for a meticulous and dedicated Tax Accountant to support our dynamic CEO in the expansion of our technology-driven enterprise. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity and punctuality of our financial reporting and accounting practices. This role demands a high level of accuracy, efficiency, and the ability to quickly adapt to new challenges, alongside strong analytical capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implementing accounting software solutions
  • Preparing and filing corporate tax returns and consolidating corporate accounts
  • Conducting thorough analyses of financial statements and reports
  • Maintaining current knowledge of tax laws and regulations
  • Offering strategic advice on tax planning to optimize tax liabilities
  • Responding to inquiries related to taxation and assisting with audits
  • Ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local tax regulations
  • Identifying potential tax savings and recommending strategies to enhance profitability
  • Reviewing financial data for accuracy and compliance
  • Preparing quarterly and annual tax documentation
  • Contributing to the development of corporate tax policies and strategies
  • Exhibiting a strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Facilitating communication with global personnel
  • Leading monthly financial review sessions with executive leadership
  • Interpreting financial data to provide insights for strategic decision-making
  • Acting as the primary liaison for the accounting department, fostering collaboration across teams
  • Addressing operational challenges, enhancing processes, and tracking project progress to meet key performance indicators

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field, with 2-4 years of relevant experience
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
  • Strong confidentiality and adaptability skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and familiarity with Microsoft 365/SharePoint/Teams

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in multi-facility manufacturing, particularly in international contexts
  • Familiarity with China and proficiency in Mandarin is a plus
  • A background in engineering is advantageous
  • Critical thinking skills with a focus on thorough account reconciliation
  • Team-oriented with a proactive approach to collaboration
