POSITION SUMMARY:
The Financial Systems Analyst works under the direction of the Manager of Finance & Business Analysis. This position is instrumental in managing the organization's financial systems, ensuring data integrity and proper functioning. The incumbent's knowledge will allow them to incorporate data across systems for use in financial analysis and report development. This position will also assist in the necessary workflows for budgeting, monthly performance reporting, and capital assets, including identifying opportunities for improvement and streamlining processes. Additionally, the role is responsible for administrating proper security and data access throughout the organization. The position requires the ability to work independently with minimal supervision while consistently demonstrating the core values of Enloe Health and serving as a role model to other employees.

Significant components of this position are:
* Responsible for the Axiom Financial system, including data loads, database management, report writing and development, and data integrity.
* Import and integrate data from SQL Server and other sources into Excel, utilizing Power Query and VBA to format and prepare for system imports and analysis.
* Administers the Axiom Financial system, including security access and role development, troubleshooting errors, coordinating with support, auditing changes, and improving overall system function.
* Manages statistical reporting, including capturing data from multiple informational systems, processing, loading, and validating the data flowing into workbooks and financial systems.
* Develops and improves the organization's monthly and bi-weekly performance reporting, including designing and implementing custom reports to meet leadership and departmental needs.
* Ensures the proper setup of budgeting, rolling forecast, capital, and similar workflows in the Axiom system, ensuring an understanding of functionality and working to streamline the system's capabilities.
* Coordinates with the Information Technology team to implement system features that require backend authorization or configuration.
* Assists in the management of the API Healthcare Staffing & Scheduling system, including assigning security access and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance user experience.
* Provides ad hoc financial and operational analysis as needed to support strategic decision-making.
* Communicates financial concepts, results, and opportunities to diverse audiences.
* Demonstrates strong project management and process thinking to instill an environment of accountability and quality improvement.

EDUCATION / TRAINING / EXPERIENCE:
Minimum:
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems or related field
* Three years' experience in finance, business analysis, information technology, healthcare or a related field
* Intermediate Excel skills

Desired:
* Master's Degree, Business Administration/Finance/Accounting or Certified Public Accountant.
* Advanced Excel skills, including VBA programming and macro development.
* Highly proficient in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
* Experience with Syntellis Axiom Financial Suite.

SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES:
The candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with diverse groups and individuals. Must be able to make independent decisions and provide recommendations to the Manager, Director, Administration, employees and medical staff. The ability to exercise good judgment and tact in providing leadership, guidance and assistance is required. Must possesses analytical skills necessary to gather and interpret quantitative and qualitative data relevant to the effective and efficient operation of the assigned departments. Familiar with industry standards, and associated metrics that drive efficiency in the clinical setting. Process mapping, workflow design, and project management skills. Strong formal and informal presentation skills are required in order to communicate complex financial concepts and information to non-financial constituents. Strong analytical and communication skills are required to provide assistance with departmental financial performance review, budget preparations, and other special projects. Must be knowledgeable and have the ability to develop and interpret financial, statistical and operational data. Must have strong computer skills and experienced with spreadsheet, word processing, and data base applications. Must be able to fulfill the essential functions of the position.
