Flexible Spending Accounts, Dependent Care Accounts, Employee Assistance Program, Tuition Reimbursement and more.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESReview new admission files for accuracy and completeness, concentrating on proper use of forms, timelines, signatory compliance and file presentation, and process moves using the same review process.Review all Recertification paperwork for accuracy and completeness, concentrating on numeric accuracy, proper use of forms, timeliness, signatory compliance and file presentation.Point person to conduct initial intake and chase of all required documentation for new admission files.Manage timeline and log for incoming reasonable accommodation requests.Assist with all tenant file conversions to 6-tab filing system.Carry out online income verification processes utilizing Enterprise Income Verification (EIV), The Work Number, State Supplemental Program Log, and Department of Transitional Assistance Centralized Eligibility and Processing ( CEP)Arrange EIV, Work Number, and DTA CEP reports by Program Representative and distribute as needed and requested.Coordinate with Program Representatives to process all third-party requests needed including employment, childcare, non-wage sources, unemployment, and child support. Coordinate with RAP Program Representatives to ensure accurate data entry of HUD required supplemental information including emergency contacts and language preferences.Engage all clients by understanding and addressing their needs whether within or outside the scope of work.Attend & participate in engagement team meetings as requested and communicate effectively with clients and staff in other areas.Maintain confidentiality of client, employee and agency information in accordance with federal and state laws and funder requirements.Ensure compliance with program/department, agency and/or funder requirements, as well as SMOC policies & procedures.Other duties as assigned.KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS High School Diploma or equivalentMinimum years of related experience: 1-2 years preferredKnowledge of Excel, Windows, and WordSensitivity to the needs of economically disadvantaged clienteleKnowledge of Federal Section 8 and State MRVP/ AHVP programs Ability to work well in a very high volume and productivity environmentStrong verbal and written communication skillsExperience with adhering to confidentiality requirementsAbility to work within a teamAbility to complete complex and detailed tasks in a timely manner;Ability to work independently within a busy and diverse team setting;Experience using computer software to organize, store, and analyze data.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSAbility to lift 25 lbs.Ability to walk up and down stairs.ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPDirectly reports to Rental Assistance Program SupervisorIndirectly reports to Rental Assistance Program DirectorDirect reports of this position are None. Indirect reports of this position are: None.WORKING CONDITIONSAs part of the responsibilities of this position, the Program Director will have direct or incidental contact with clients served by SMOC in various programs funded or administered through the Executive Office of Health and Human Services.
