**TITLE**: Event Sales Manager

**DEPARTMENT**: Facility Operations

**REPORTS TO:** VP, Facilities Operations

**FLSA:** FT Exempt; Salaried + Bonuses.

**WHAT SETS YOU APART** You are a resourceful and proactive sales professional. You will be responsible to maximize revenue opportunities, generating new streams of revenue via stadium rentals and private events at Exploria Stadium. You will solicit new business and create relationships with established and new roster of business and manage the sales process from sale to service and continue to foster client relationships for future recurring business. This position will work in cooperation with respective internal service departments to ensure successful events.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Generate new business via prospect visits, networking, trade publications, resource guides, database companies and cold calls. * Create leads and develop long-term relationships in the event planning, production, and promotion communities, and with other relevant companies, organizations, and groups. * Make 50+ outbound touch points daily with the goal of setting an appointment with new and returning clients * Set and conduct 10+ stadium and out-of-office appointments per week to assist in closing new business. * Conduct VIP tours with potential prospect sales at Exploria Stadium. * Actively self-prospect and research new sales leads and potential clients through various platforms including LinkedIn & local Chambers * Build and enhance current relationships to grow account base through repeat business and referrals. * Maintain a beneficial membership with a local networking group and Chamber of Commerce. * Exceed monthly & yearly event sales goals. * Promptly respond to incoming calls from event sales prospects and existing clients. * Utilize Salesforce CRM software to manage customer accounts. * Work all Exploria Stadium events to support event sales initiatives. * Provide excellent service through phone calls, emails, written communication and in-person visits in/out of the office and special Exploria Stadium events * Work with Marketing department to create/develop and generate professional proposals and sales presentations by compiling necessary information such as research, data, photos, etc. * Collaborate with legal department to draft, negotiate, and execute event contracts. * Prepare and provide weekly reports to VP of Facilities & Operations on sales activity/expenses and results to track own performance as well as event performance. * Establish partnership opportunities with the premium sales staff to maximize event and revenue opportunities. * Collaborate with Corporate Partnerships department to quote and provide event opportunities to existing partners. * Other duties as assigned. ***QUALIFICATIONS*** Its never just a job at Exploria Stadium, home of Orlando City and Orlando Pride. To join our team, you will also possess these qualifications: * Minimum 2-4 years of sales experience in convention centers, sports and entertainment venue or hospitality industry. * Evidence of ability to establish and maintain effective business relationships. * Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate and negotiate with various levels of business units and venues or prospective customers. * Detail oriented with exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple, concurrent projects in a high paced environment. * Demonstrated ability to analyze, formulate solutions and alternatives; and resolve issues in a timely manner * High level of integrity with a professional, business-oriented demeanor. * Creativity and ingenuity in developing successful sales strategies and have a working knowledge of the industry or community events along with a pulse of industry opportunities. * Proven ability to initiate high-level contacts of prospective customer with strong persuasion and negotiation skills to close a sale. * Ability to work well on a team and independently. * Self-motivated with excellent time management skills and business/sales acumen. * Demonstrated computer proficiency including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and CRM skills. * Able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays. * Experience in the Florida marketplace preferred. * Bilingual in Spanish or Portuguese is preferred. **ABOUT ORLANDO CITY AND ORLANDO PRIDE:**
